Terms and Conditions
You must be over the legal smoking age of 18 if purchasing cigars or any tobacco products. For first time cigarette customers, a current Australian Driver’s License or Proof of Age shall be required via email.
New Customers & Orders
Please note that when signing up for the first time and placing your first order, Alexanders Cigar Merchants reserves the right to request additional information from you in order to confirm your identity. In some cases, we also reserve the right to request that the order amount be transferred via Direct Deposit into our account.
NOTE – for any orders with wrong pricing, please note that the correct price will be amended and applied to your order.
Melbourne & Interstate Postage Fees
Express Post – (1 to 2 days CBD delivery upon receiving shipping confirmation or 3-5 days otherwise). In order to receive your parcel promptly, keep in mind that orders must be placed no later than 4.30 pm
- $14.40 Express Post – upto 500g
- $23.15 Express Post – upto 3kg
- $30.45 Express Post – upto 5kg

Returns Policy
Please contact us upon receipt of your order (within 7 days) if wishing to return any giftware items. However, any tobacco related products cannot be returned as they are perishable goods.
* Contact us in order to indicate the reason for your return.
* If returning items, indicate the order number or the e-mail address and name of the person who purchased this order, along with the reason for your return on a separate piece of paper, to the address shown below.
Lost / Missing Items
Alexanders Cigar Merchants cannot take responsibility for any parcels lost during transit. We will, however, take measures with Australia Post and do our best to help locate any missing items. If you wish your parcel to be fully covered, Alexanders recommends that you add extra insurance to cover any potential loss or damage of your goods (for a small fee). Please specify this in the comments section upon checkout and we will contact you with further information.
Out-of-Stock Cigars
Due to high demand or supplier unavailability, some cigars may periodically be out-of-stock. If you have already placed an order for an out-of-stock cigar/s, please note that you can opt to wait for the item to return, select an alternative, or simply cancel your order. Your credit card will not be processed until the item is back in stock.
Refunds
Out-of-stock cigars: If you have requested a refund for an out-of-stock cigar/s that you have already placed in your order, we shall notify you via e-mail ASAP. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within the same day of our receiving your notice. Gifts: If you are returning a gift, you may choose to exchange for another item of equal value or opt for a gift voucher to the value of your return, which may be used any time toward your purchases at Alexanders Cigar Merchants. The gift certificate will be mailed to the gift recipient at the same address to which the order was shipped.
