Alfred Dunhill – Christmas Pipe 2018 – The Nutcracker & Mouse King

This Limited Edition pipe set continues the 12-year theme‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’, which began in 2011 and will end in 2022.  It is based on the characters of the children’s book ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by German author Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann and the famous ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This being the 8th pipe in the series, it depicts the Seven-headed Mouse King, a central character in the story.

The pipe is a group 4 Canadian pipe (4109) in Cumberland finish with smooth, flat rim. It features a hallmarked 15mm Sterling Silver band engraved with 2018. The pipe tamper is 60 mm long and crafted from solid Sterling Silver. It depicts in great detail the seven-headed Mouse King.

Presented in a leather-bound book held in blue & red colours with gold embossing to represent the uniform of the Nutcracker. Each set is accompanied by its numbered limited edition certificate. This edition series is strictly limited to annually only 300 pipes worldwide. This pipe is No. 158 of 300.
